Make one thing every day, wander like a gypsy, and shine happiness like the sun

Mission Statement

on January 8, 2013

This is a project from “Knitting Mochimochi” by Anna Hrachovec. It’s for my niece-sis don’t tell her 🙂

The fabric came from my mom’s favorite dress, circa 1974. Not even worthy of donation at this point. I took it apart and made bluebirds!

AKA Selvedge Mitt. To protect her privacy I won’t disclose my mom’s name… but you can guess ;0

Um, I’m the one on the right.

It occurred to me as I was looking over the posts that I haven’t shared things I’ve made, as was the original intent.  Truth is, reality looks a lot prettier than handmade.  Hokey comes to mind, and I’m not talkin about the Turn-Yourself-Around Clinic.  Sigh…  Anyhow, these are a few of my recent attempts at craftiness.ImageImage

I love the blue-birds and the rabbit with giant scarf ears. So cute.
