Zen wisdom

on January 17, 2013

I love my page-a-day calendar, and I find extraordinary comfort from Zen and Buddhist philosophy.  I also, as past blogs show, love all things old and with rich histories.  This saying was from January 15th.  Dreary weather prevailing, this was my close comfort in longing for warm weather.  The artist is Wallace Nutting (1861-1941), and these belonged to my grandfather. I didn’t even have to put on mittens 🙂004005008011
